On October 19th, we celebrated LIGHTS ON AFTERSCHOOL with an Open House and Showcase. The students shared their afterschool project with their parents and guests. All the pictures were so fun to see, but the best part was the hands-on science they did that day, including a lesson on polymers and exploding canister rockets!! Wahoo! Lights On Aferschool is a day dedicated to celebrating the difference afterschool programming makes in the lives of young people across the country. Our day also celebrated the difference afterschool is making right here in our community!!!
