Childcare/Preschool Coordinator - Closed
The job would entail but not limited to:
- Supervisory of children and childcare staff
- Producing lesson plans and activities
- Staff scheduling
- Providing a clean, safe, and sanitary environment accustomed to Idahos Child Care Codes
- Registering new kids in the program
- Running staff meeting applying programming and professional development
The Coordinator will also be counted in staff/child ratio as one of the childcare leaders during programming and will be in charge of working with other childcare/preschool staff in providing a high quality program.
Will be in charge of children ages 1-5 years of age
Childcare/Preschool Teachers - Open
Duties Include:
- Creates and incorporates daily lesson plans
- Monitors, observes, and interacts with children
- Cares for the physical needs of children
- Maintains attendance, activity records
- Assures a safe environment
- Designs bulletin board and other displays
- May assists with food preparation, service, and cleanup
- Must perform custodial duties.
Staff will do curriculum planning and class room management. Applicants will be required to pass a Criminal History Background Check through Health and Welfare.
These positions involve lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, standing, sitting, stooping, squatting, running, and climbing stairs. Must be able to read and understand written instructions.
Youth Enrichment Professionals - Open
Education Requirement: High School Diploma
Experience: 2-3 years
Minimum Qualifications
1. Child Development Experience
2. A minimum of 1-2 years working with children
3. Experience in supervision\management of others
4. Organized and detail oriented
5. MUST HAVE STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS
6. Willingness to learn and work as a team
7. Required to pass a background Check with Health and Welfare
8. Required to buy a uniform
Other Abilities
1. Ability to manage and work with staff in a professional manner
2. Prepare and implement lesson plans including educational enrichment
3. Maintain a positive and healthy work environment
4. Success in dealing with multiple age levels Pre K-8th with proven track record
5. Must obtain CPR\First Aide Certification
6. Must pass a TB test
7. Willing to participate in Idaho STARS professional development system
Site Coordinator Positions
Children's Museum Site-Coordinator - Closed
The site 1 coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day
operations and management of the Early
Childhood Education program as well as the After-School SHARK
program. He or she is responsible for everything that goes on in the Early Childhood Education and
the program’s success or failure.

The Site 2 Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of the after school program. He or she is responsible for everything that goes on in the after school program and the programs success or failure. Also run the open hour Playland Hours Tuesday-Friday, scheduling birthday parties, etc.
S.C.U.B.A. Site-Coordinator - Closed
This opening is for an administrative position as the Site Coordinator for our S.C.U.B.A. (Students Conquering Un-Believable Achievements) Program, a 21st Century Community Learning Center program. The Site Coordinator is responsible for the day to day operations and management of the middle-school aged after school program. Site Coordinator is responsible for programmatic scheduling, hiring of staff, community partnerships, and all other duties required regarding the logistics of operating an afterschool program. Site Coordinator will work under supportive administrative staff and receive training toward program requirements.
Part-time, school year position at 20-30 hours per week.
Other Site-Coordinator Requirements and Duties
Education Requirement: Equivalent to an Associates
Experience: 3 years in a childcare facility or education setting
Minimum Qualifications
1. Associates Degree in child development or equivalent in experienced years or training
2. A minimum of 1-2 years working with children
